Who.
Lara is a licensed nationally certified massage and bodywork practitioner. She has a career spanning 20 years of dance, movement, rehabilitation, and hands on bodywork. Her sessions focus on restoring function, balancing the body's systems, and empowering clients to treat themselves and succeed at maximizing their movement and body goals.
Modalities.
Lara interacts with the body on many levels. She is versed in varied soft tissue techniques and neuromuscular re-patterning. Lara utilizes Orthopedic massage, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral therapy, Visceral Fascia therapy.
Philosophy.
Lara's approach uses manual hands on techniques to treat the biography of the injury in all of its manifestations throughout the body. Treating the body's biography of injury requires the skill to interact with all the tissue and connected anatomy as well as applying the appropriate movement re-education. Integral to this approach, is educating the client about anatomy, biomechanics, and how multiple systems come into play to address their goals.
